1067 – Conquest to Community: An exhibition of photographers’ and and artists’ work in and around Hastings and St Leonards on Sea. The idea of conquest not as force, but as one of arrival and integration – a quiet process through which newcomers root themselves within a place and its community. Together, these works offer a collective vision of life particular to this coastal town.
