This exhibition will be showcasing work from young emerging women artists practicing in Hastings while we investigate what it might mean to unearth an interval.
Our version of an interval refers to a space not limited or confined to time, or to structure. Quite simply, an interval. There seems to be an area in memory and perception that is loose, that can never fully form or become tangible, how might we jump into it. You will see a range of pieces from abstract oils, sculptures, textiles to animations. Allowing for the viewer to enter the individual artists varying personal networks of associations and conflicts which sleep/dream within their internal zeitgeists, and for a brief time; to share an interval.
