Chorismos is a Greek term meaning separation or division. The meeting point of ocean and land is one example of chorismos unfolding over time. Shaped gradually through erosion, displacement, sedimentation, and ongoing environmental change, this porous boundary gives rise to distinct yet interconnected ecosystems.
The exhibition brings together four East Sussex coastal artists in dialogue with three Czech artists, who have developed site-responsive perspectives during a week-long residency at Electro Studios Project Space, St Leonards on Sea.
