Fiona Denning – Extraction. My work for this show is in response to a trip I took to Svalbard, an archipelago in the High Arctic. It has a very long history of extraction. The effect of climate change is 6-8 times faster there than anywhere else in the world.
Sally Cox – Artefacts. This series of artefacts comes after years of exploring in my work our history, a history mainly buried and forgotten, but there to be rediscovered through the found objects and stones beneath the ground.
