We are very pleased to present a site-responsive collaboration between Norwegian artists Gunhil Sannes and Jara Marken and St Leonards-based artists Miroslava Vecerova and Maya Ramnarine.
The place where land and sea meets is the Heron’s natural home and the title references the rise and fall of the tides. In ancient Egypt, the Heron symbolises renewal and rebirth and is a fitting metaphor to represent the action of migration which has fortuitously brought the four artists together.
