OIKOS

2 – 25 September

OIKOS is an Ancient Greek word meaning ‘home‘ or ‘belonging‘ and throughout September @electro_studios_project_space and @landing_esps_ will be filled to overflowing with the work of more than 30 young artists, some still at college and some about to go off into the big wide world. It’s a show about connection and community, curated by the artists in a spirit of friendship and collaboration.

Multi-disciplinary, Part 1 explores our understanding of home and belonging, Part 2 what it feels like to be moving away from everything with which we are familiar. Expect installation, textiles, sound, music, film, performance – even painting, drawing and sculpture.

Artists include: Babalola Yusuf, Daisy Stewart-Darling, Maya Ramnarine, Ollie Williams, Mara Ukairo, Ethan Kirby, Ellie Jewell, Evie Ukairo-Morris, Hayden Ackerley, Joe Ackerley, Lily Dixon, May Mayo, Rosie Sullivian, Tom Healey, Franky Cordell
